The NJT Construction Company is one of the most prodigious builders in the regions, credited with building in part or in totality many of the major institutions. NJT contributed to the construction of some of the major healthcare, educational institutions, commercial complexes and plenty of residential projects. NJT Construction's influential founder, Chacko Mathai, was born in Kottayam, Kerala in 1912. From the first day he started his business, Chacko Mathai aspired to make his company a major player in the construction industry. By his hard work and leadership quality, business began to grow successfully for many years later he retired and passed the torch to NJ Thomas. He defined the character of the company, reflecting his personal ideals and work ethics. In 1995 Siby Thomas son of NJ Thomas had taken over the business. Under his dynamic leadership, the company began to grow in a unique way. He wanted and always dreams to construct large buildings for powerful clients. Now NJT is registered as "A" Class civil contractor in state PWD and enlisted as class 1 civil contractor in Central PWD and also pre-qualified firm for the works of Hindustan Prefab Ltd. HLL Life care Ltd., Cochin Shipyard etc.
